We started the adopt a cabin program to assist Camp Monahan in finding donors and volunteers to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our infrastructure. How does the “Adopt A Cabin” program work? Choose from a list of buildings on camp’s property (see below), determine the needs of each building, submit suggested upgrades in writing to Camp Monahan, obtain approval and begin renovations! Once the building is complete you can enjoy the fruits of your labor by spending time during the off season at camp. Take advantage of the lake, use the canoes, go fishing, swim, enjoy the beach and continue to beautify camp.

A very special thank you to the VanDusen family, who adopted the Inland staff cabin! Inland is very special place to this family, as mom Anissa and all three daughters, Erica, Lia and Alexa have all been counselors who stayed in this cabin. It has been a true work of the heart! There is more work to be done!

Admin Building - Located at main camp a stones throw away from the beach. Our goal is to turn this underutilized building into more accommodations for staff and rentals.

Program Staff (Stoop) - Currently 4 smaller rooms, needs a lot of work. Our vision is to combine the rooms on each side of the building into two large rooms one for male and one for female program staff.

Lakeshore Staff - This three room building has two larger rooms, cuddling a smaller room in the centre. Lots of cosmetic work to be done in these rooms.

First Aid - Located at main camp, another one that is a stones throw from the beach and a hop away from the pool. Two rooms and separate washroom facilities.

Craft Hall/Education Centre - This is for the ambitious group or business. This is a large building with and open space used for crafts and washrooms.
